Ingredients
  • 1 Pound ground lean Beef
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Cup minced onion
  • 1 - 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & Pepper
  • ¼ Cup bread crumbs
  • 2 Hamburger buns
  • Mayonnaise & Ketchup
  • 2 Iceberg lettuce leaves
  • Thinly sliced tomato
  • Thin slices of red onion

Method

  Step 01

  • Combine ground beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs,  garlic in a mixing bowl until well combined. You can salt and pepper according to your taste. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and flatten each into a wide patty

  • Put burger patties on a greased barbecue grill over a firm bed of burning coals or high heat on a gas grill.  Sauté them until browned over both sides. Then, remove the grill from the heat.

  • Toast the buns on the grill for a few minutes, until lightly toasted.

  • On the bottoms of the buns, spread some mayo and ketchup. Afterward, place the grilled patty, slice of cheese, tomato, and onion slices accordingly.
