You can still create this latte with just a regular blender. Simply add your milk (and matcha, if you don’t mind skipping the pretty milk pour) and blend on high speed. In about a minute, you’ll have frothy, bubbly milk—just like the kind you’d pay $5 for at a coffee shop.
It’s a simple hack for getting that café-style latte at home without all the extra equipment.
Matcha vs. Coffee
While I’m a dedicated coffee drinker, I’ll admit, matcha has its charm. Made from finely ground tea leaves, matcha offers about three times the caffeine of brewed green tea.
Although it’s lower in caffeine than coffee, matcha provides a smoother, longer-lasting energy boost, without the jitters or crash that coffee can sometimes bring.
It’s a more balanced caffeine experience, which is why I love it!

How to Get Matcha to Dissolve Completely
To avoid those green flecks in your iced matcha, the secret is dissolving the matcha in hot water first.
If you have a traditional whisk, that works great to break down the powder. If you still see flecks, no worries—throw the mixture into a high-powered blender and blend on high.
This will break everything down to a smooth consistency. And if some tiny flecks remain, it's totally fine! A few green specks won’t hurt your drink or your vibe.
Now, stay caffeinated and tackle the rest of the week with energy!
